Pinewood Design and Company was thrilled to be able to assist in renovating this 1800’s plantation home. As the oldest home recorded in Daugherty County, Georgia, it was vital to preserve the integrity of the home as much as possible while giving a fresh update to some of the main spaces. The home sits on a hunting plantation in Georgia’s quail country, so the design was influenced by an updated traditional style that showcased beautiful paintings featuring landscape found on the plantation and quail hunting dogs that the homeowner trained. Updates were made in the form of new furniture, a major kitchen and master bathroom renovation, as well as master bedroom renovation.
